IN CONCLUSION

I hope I have given you a glimpse of life as it was when I was growing up on a ranch in Oklahoma as well as what the times were like over the years as I recalled numerous incidents and situations I have experienced in my lifetime as a cowman and a cowboy.

If I had my life to live over, I wouldn't change a thing. Life has always been exciting with never a dull moment. I consider myself very lucky to have a wonderful family and to have made so many friends and acquaintances, including all my "children" I have taught to ride, from just working with cows and horses in a variety of business endeavors.

In good and bad times, I have always been a jokester and enjoyed telling jokes and stories. The stories recalled in this little book are just some of the hundreds I have related over and over again to anyone who would listen. I hope you have enjoyed them.

To anyone who wants to be a cowboy or a cowgirl, one of my favorite sayings has always been: "Do it like a cowman, not a cowboy, but if you have to cowboy (rope cows), then you should be capable of doing so."
